Webb Whereabouts: A Burger Batch Review

These days it isn’t all about the taste of the food that matters, but the look. Now that everyone is taking to Instagram and Snapchat to show off their Starbucks, cute brunch, or fancy dinner, restaurants are doing all they can to make their food aesthetically pleasing.

Lately, Winston-Salem’s newest hit has been Burger Batch– all thanks to their over the top milkshakes layered with cookies, cake, and even Krispy Kreme Donuts.

We visited Burger Batch last week, and not to our surprise, found it full of other guests enjoying burgers, fries, and shakes. Although a small space, the wait was less than half an hour. However, if you visit during a busier time, you can always eat from the same menu next door at the restaurant where Burger Batch originated, Small Batch Beer & Co.

Although the restaurant offers much more than just burgers, we thought we’d better try one (because, it is in the name after all) and we were not disappointed. They have many unique burger combinations (i.e., the Morning After burger with fried egg AND french fries on top), which will satisfy the most adventurous foodie.

We definitely suggest you swing by Burger Batch the next time you’re visiting Winston, but make sure you take your wallet with you, because if you plan on eating a full meal plus a milkshake, it can get pretty pricey. But, ya know, treat yourself.
