Off-the-shoulder tops are everywhere right now, so I couldn’t resist when I saw this cute, flowy shirt from American Eagle. I paired the shirt with jeans, but it would also look great with a long black skirt or shorts. And, if you’re not into showing a lot of skin, then the sleeves can be worn either way.

I have been dying for an excuse to wear my new Franco Sarto heels. Ugh, they are my new favorite pair of shoes and I don’t have enough places to wear them. (Check out DSW.com for any and all styles).
Last week I had the privilege of hosting one of my close friends who moved away to England when we were in middle school. She stepped in as my photographer for this post (Thanks, Kat), but I wanted to say a little something about the treasure of friendships that withstand the test of time. I have only seen Katherine a few times in the last nine years, however, every time we reunite it’s as if no time has gone by and I can honestly say that I trust her, laugh with her, and confide in her as much as I do with any friend I see on a regular basis. These kinds of friends are hard to find, so don’t let them go.
Pretty duds on a pretty girl.
